A 12 V 1.2 Ah battery from Open Sesame's accessory order form, matching the 12V DC, 1.2Ah sealed lead-acid battery in the operator specifications. Open Sesame says the system keeps working for about 2 days after a power loss and gives the battery a life expectancy of 3 to 5 years depending on use.

About The Open Sesame Operator Battery (12 V 1.2 Ah)
Open Sesame's owner's manual says to switch the operator off and disconnect the phone cord before replacing it, and to connect orange to the red positive terminal and black to the black negative terminal: reversed wires permanently damage the charging circuit. Open Sesame's warranty excludes the operator battery.
Sold for self-installation: this price is for the part, shipped to you. If you would like us to install it, build a door opener quote instead.
