The AL560XL carries a power wheelchair outside the vehicle, with no straps to buckle. Harmar's padded hold-down arm secures the chair during travel without modifying it, which Harmar describes as practically hands-free. It takes rear, mid and front wheel drive power chairs.

About The Harmar AL560XL Automatic Extra Large Universal Power Wheelchair Lift
It lifts up to 350 lb, and lifting and folding are fully powered. The adjustable platform is 30.75" x 38.5", and its wheel cradles adjust for a snug fit. Installed, it weighs 101 lb and needs a Class III or greater hitch on a minivan, SUV, truck or van; Harmar asks you to confirm your vehicle's compatibility with your dealer. An AL123HD class III heavy duty hitch adapter, AL107 hitch post and license plate mount are included.
Harmar's 3-year parts warranty is transferable when the application is approved by Harmar's Compatibility Calculator.
