This Protekt cushion has a cut-out at the back, so there is no foam directly under the coccyx (tailbone). The rest is high density, high resilient polyurethane foam, a pressure redistribution material.

About The Protekt Foam Coccyx Cushion
It comes in standard and bariatric widths. The 16, 18 and 20 in sizes are rated for 250 lbs; the 22 to 30 in sizes for 500 lbs and up. Thickness is 2, 3 or 4 in.
A breathable, fluid resistant stretch nylon cover goes over the foam, and buckles keep the cushion in position on the chair. The warranty is 1 year.
