The Protekt Aire 8900 runs low air loss, alternating pressure and pulsation from one high airflow dual compressor pump rated at 18 lpm. Its on demand side air bolsters can be raised or let down with a quick deflate twist release valve, so the mattress works with or without them.

About The Protekt Aire 8900 Low Air Loss Alternating Pressure and Pulsation Mattress System with On Demand Side Air Bolsters
Alternating pressure offers 5 cycles of 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 minutes, and pulsation cycle times adjust from 10-30 minutes. Auto-Seat detects when the mattress is inclined and equalizes pressure to the center cells. Auto firm inflates quickly, static mode with auto-recovery firms the surface for transfers, and the cell-on-cell design holds air in the lower cells during a power failure.
