Who The Bruno Elite SRE-2010 Suits

We would rather tell you this is the wrong model than sell you one that does not fit the staircase or the person. If any of the below does not describe your situation, say so on the first call and we will point you at the right thing.

We are an authorized dealer, which means we sell it, install it, and service it afterward. Nothing here is drop-shipped to your door with an instruction sheet.

What Matters About This One

The things that actually decide whether it is the right choice.

01

The lift Bruno names for difficult transfers

Bruno recommends the Elite over the Elan for anyone who scoot-pivot transfers without bearing weight through their legs, or whose knees buckle during a stand-to-sit transfer. If that describes the transfer, this is the model, not the cheaper one.

02

400 lb against the Elan's 300

A hundred pounds more capacity on the same kind of straight staircase. If the person using it is anywhere near the Elan's limit, this is the one, because a lift used above its rating is a safety problem rather than a warranty question.

03

Tread-mounted rail

Fixed into the stair treads rather than the wall, and removable.

04

Battery backed

Runs through an outage and lowers under control if the batteries are low.

05

Two to four hours to install

A straight flight is a single visit.

Stairlifts We Have Installed

Photos from our own jobs. Not every photo shows this model.

How The Work Happens

Five steps. You can stop at any of them, and nothing is charged until you have said yes to a written scope.

  1. 1

You tell us what is difficult

Not what product you think you need. The stairs, the front step, the bath, getting into the car. Working out the product is our job.

A call, not a sales pitch
  2. 2

    We come out and measure

On site, at your address, free. We check the space, the power, and the structure, and we talk through how the room actually gets used.

    Free, and no obligation
  3. 3

    You get it in writing

An itemized scope and a price, with the lead time stated honestly. The price you agree to is the price of the job. Take as long as you like with it.

    The price does not move
  4. 4

    Our technicians install it

Our own people, not a subcontractor, who stay until everyone who has to operate it can operate it confidently.

    Our own crews
  5. 5

    We service it afterward

The company that installed it is the company that maintains it. You are not handed to somebody else once the invoice clears.

    Same company, years later

How we work out which one you need: Stairlifts

The Credentials Behind The Work

Anybody can sell equipment. Installing it legally, configuring it clinically, and servicing it afterward takes credentials that have to be earned and kept current. Here is what our team holds.

Elevator Mechanic

State Elevator Mechanic Licenses

Licensed elevator mechanics, state by state. Residential elevators and platform lifts are regulated work in most jurisdictions, and this is the license that makes it legal to do.

ATP

ATP, Assistive Technology Professional

RESNA-recognized credential for evaluating a person's needs and specifying the assistive technology that fits. This is who you want configuring a power chair or a seating system.

CRTS

CRTS, Complex Rehab Technology Supplier

The credential for supplying individually configured complex rehab. It is what separates a supplier who works alongside your clinical team from one who ships a box.

CAPS

CAPS, Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist

Training in modifying a home so someone can stay in it. It is the difference between installing equipment and understanding the house it goes into.

MSE

Mobility Service Excellence

Industry service certification covering installation, maintenance, and repair standards across mobility equipment.

EPA 609

EPA Section 609

Federal certification for handling refrigerant in vehicle air conditioning. It is required to legally service a bus AC system, and it is why fleet work is something we can actually take on.

Mason is a wonderful service technician! We live in “rural country” of NE Georgia and he drove all this way to get my Dad’s chair lift up and running. Thank you, Mason AND Custom Mobility!
