What Matters About Service & Repair

The four things that actually decide this, rather than the four things easiest to write.

01

Whoever sold it

Most of what we service came from somewhere else. Being an authorized dealer across several manufacturers is what makes that possible.

02

Diagnosis before parts

We tell you what is wrong and what it costs before anything is ordered. Batteries are the most common answer and the cheapest one.

03

Our own technicians

Vetted, background checked and drug tested, and licensed where the equipment legally requires it. Never subcontracted.

04

Annual service is the cheap version

Almost everything we are called out to fix was visible months earlier. A yearly service costs a fraction of an emergency.

What Actually Stops People

These are the three things we hear most. None of them is unreasonable.

Questions People Ask

Will you service a lift you did not install?

Usually, depending on the platform. Send us the make and model and we will tell you honestly before you book anything.

The company that fitted mine went out of business.

That is a call we take often. We can usually pick it up, and we will tell you quickly if the platform is one nobody can still get parts for.

How fast can somebody come out?

Depends on the day and where you are. Somebody stuck upstairs is treated differently from a rattle that has been there a month, so say which it is when you call.

What usually goes wrong?

Batteries, by a long way. After that, wear parts and obstruction sensors that have drifted out of adjustment. Most of it is cheap if it is caught early.

Do you offer a service contract?

Yes, residential and commercial. On elevators and platform lifts in public buildings, a service log is a legal requirement rather than a nicety.

Can you get parts for an old lift?

Often. Sometimes not, and then we will say so rather than charge you for a diagnosis that ends in bad news.

Do you service commercial equipment?

Yes. Platform lifts, door operators, and lifts on buses and transit vans, including fleet programs.

What does a service visit cost?

Tell us the equipment and where you are and we will quote it before we come. No surprises on the doorstep.

The Credentials Behind The Work

Anybody can sell equipment. Installing it legally, configuring it clinically, and servicing it afterward takes credentials that have to be earned and kept current. Here is what our team holds.

Elevator Mechanic

State Elevator Mechanic Licenses

Licensed elevator mechanics, state by state. Residential elevators and platform lifts are regulated work in most jurisdictions, and this is the license that makes it legal to do.

ATP

ATP, Assistive Technology Professional

RESNA-recognized credential for evaluating a person's needs and specifying the assistive technology that fits. This is who you want configuring a power chair or a seating system.

CRTS

CRTS, Complex Rehab Technology Supplier

The credential for supplying individually configured complex rehab. It is what separates a supplier who works alongside your clinical team from one who ships a box.

CAPS

CAPS, Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist

Training in modifying a home so someone can stay in it. It is the difference between installing equipment and understanding the house it goes into.

MSE

Mobility Service Excellence

Industry service certification covering installation, maintenance, and repair standards across mobility equipment.

EPA 609

EPA Section 609

Federal certification for handling refrigerant in vehicle air conditioning. It is required to legally service a bus AC system, and it is why fleet work is something we can actually take on.
