About The Protekt Gel Mattress Overlay
Proactive builds it in layers: a convoluted high density polyurethane foam top, 15 horizontal gel bladders, and a firm high density foam base. The gel stays at room temperature. A fluid resistant, vapor permeable nylon top cover and a vinyl bottom cover wrap it all.
Standard sizes are 34 x 76 x 3.5 in and 34 x 84 x 3.5 in (300 lb) and 35 x 80 x 4 in (400 lb). Bariatric overlays run 42 to 60 in wide, rated 500 to 700 lb.
