The Basic Magnet Alarm is a pull-string monitor from Proactive. The monitor mounts to a bed or chair, and a clip goes on the person's clothing. If they move beyond the preset distance, the magnetic seal between the monitor and the magnet breaks and the alarm sounds.

About The Proactive Basic Magnet Alarm
The pull-switch is multi-directional, and the cord's length is adjustable. The alarm is always in the on position. Its mounting bracket attaches to practically all wheelchairs or beds.
It runs on one 9V battery, included. Replacement magnets are available if one goes missing, and Proactive's warranty is 1 year.
