Getting in and out is the focus of Vive's Model V: its padded captain's seat swivels all the way around, which Vive says makes transfers easier. The seat height, recline, footplate and armrests all adjust.

About The Electric Wheelchair Model V
It supports up to 300 lbs, travels up to 15 miles per charge on dual 12V 35AH batteries and reaches 4 mph. With a 25" turning radius it turns in narrow spaces. The seat is 20" x 18" and the chair measures 40" long, 24.75" wide and 44" high, weighing 151 lbs with batteries. Solid, inflate-free tires (6.2" front, 10" rear) need no inflating. Vive lists it for concrete and pavement, not loose gravel or bad weather. A freewheel mode lets someone push the chair by hand.
Included: the chair, both batteries, the joystick controller, a 3-pin charging cable and the user manual. Vive covers the frame for 5 years and the joystick for 1 year.
