Mobility equipment for the home.
Six product categories covering most home mobility and accessibility needs. Free in-home assessments. Authorized dealer relationships with the manufacturers behind every product.
How we work.
Four steps from your first call to the day the equipment is installed and serving your family. No pressure. No surprises. No timelines we cannot honor.
The conversation
Call us, or schedule a consultation online. A real person on a real local team will respond, usually the same day. We will ask about your situation, the person who needs the equipment, the home, the schedule, and the budget.
The assessment
A licensed mobility consultant visits your home, measures the space, evaluates the existing wiring, and confirms what is possible. The assessment is free, takes about an hour, and ends with a written quote.
The decision
Take the quote home. Compare it. Ask questions. Bring family members into the conversation. We will not pressure you to decide before you are ready. If the equipment is not right for your situation, we will tell you that, too.
The install
Manufacturer-trained technicians install the equipment on the scheduled date. They walk you through how to use it. They confirm it works correctly. They leave when you are confident, not when the clock says they are done.
Dignity is the point.
We are family-owned and Christ-centered. We believe accessibility is not an accommodation, it is a precondition for human dignity. The people in your home, the parent you are helping, the spouse who is adjusting, the child whose needs are changing, they are not customers in a transaction. They are people. We serve them the way we would want our own families served.
Our values
Real options for paying.
Mobility equipment is rarely cheap. Coverage rules are complicated. Here are the actual options available to families navigating these decisions.
Medicaid & State Programs
Medicaid coverage varies by state. Many state programs cover qualifying mobility equipment for residents with eligible diagnoses. We verify benefits, file the paperwork, and confirm whether your situation qualifies before any work begins.
Private Insurance & Workers Compensation
Most major private insurers cover qualifying durable medical equipment under specific clinical conditions. Workers compensation claims are handled directly with the carrier. We work with your provider and your employer to maximize coverage where it applies.
VA Benefits for Service-Connected Veterans
HISA grants, AAE grants, prosthetics-and-sensory-aids vouchers, and durable medical equipment authorization for qualifying service-connected veterans. Bring us your diagnosis code or service-connection rating, and we will walk you through what may be available.
Third-Party Financing
We partner with multiple accredited financing groups. Soft credit checks, terms typically ranging from 12 to 60 months, fast approval. We do not earn commissions on financing, so the recommendation is honest.
My Mobility Center does not currently accept Medicare. We will not pressure you into a payment plan, financing product, or coverage path that does not fit your situation. If you cannot afford the equipment, we will tell you and help you find help.
Common questions.
If something you need to know is not here, call us at (706) 207-2091.
What kind of mobility equipment do you install in homes?
Stairlifts (straight and curved staircases), wheelchair ramps (modular and permanent), home elevators, vertical platform lifts, automatic door openers, power wheelchairs and scooters, custom seating, and bathroom modifications. We also handle wheelchair-accessible vehicle modifications and the related adaptive driving equipment.
How much does a stairlift cost?
A straight-rail stairlift typically runs between $3,500 and $5,500 installed. A curved-rail stairlift, which is custom fabricated to your specific staircase, typically runs between $9,500 and $18,000 installed. The exact number depends on the staircase, the model selected, and any options. The in-home assessment produces a firm written quote before you commit.
How long does installation take?
A straight stairlift is usually installed in one to four hours on the day of install, same day. A curved stairlift takes four to six weeks for custom fabrication, then one day to install. Wheelchair ramps and automatic door openers are usually same-day. Home elevators and vehicle modifications vary by complexity, and we will give you a firm timeline before any deposit.
Do you accept Medicare?
We do not currently accept Medicare. We do accept Medicaid (state-dependent coverage), most major private insurance for qualifying durable medical equipment, workers compensation claims, and we partner with several third-party financing groups for customers paying out of pocket.
Do you offer free assessments?
Yes. For residential customers in our regional service area, the in-home assessment is free. A licensed mobility consultant comes to your home, measures the space, evaluates the wiring, and discusses how the area is used. There is no obligation to move forward after the assessment.
Do you service equipment you did not install?
Yes. We service most major brands of stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, power mobility chairs, and home accessibility equipment, regardless of who originally sold or installed them. Mobile service technicians cover most of the country through our network of local teams.
What brands do you carry?
My Mobility Center is an authorized dealer for over forty manufacturer brands. Major brands include Quantum Rehab, Permobil, Invacare, Pride Mobility, Bruno, Harmar, Savaria, Handicare, Drive Medical, and Golden Technologies. We carry product lines across stairlifts, power mobility, complex rehab, vehicle lifts, and accessibility equipment.
What if I am not sure what I need yet?
Schedule a free consultation. The conversation does not commit you to anything. We will ask about the person who needs the equipment, the home, the situation, and the schedule. We will tell you what we think is appropriate, what other families in similar situations have done, and what to consider before making a decision.
